His feel good words are no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to their split. From the moment it came out that he filed for divorce, some speculated that it was because of her “Diva” attitude,” he made it clear that fans should not count on him to ever say anything negative about Carey publicly. And he has kept his vow since then.
The two have not only had an amicable split but have been able to co-parent and even spend the holidays together with their five-year-old twins. It’s great to see him congratulating them publicly. It’s also very likely the engagement was not news to him.
