It looks like Bethenny Frankel is starting off the New Year on the wrong foot. The Real Housewives of New York star is getting quite the backlash after her rant about Kmart employees apparently not speaking English to her Twitter fans. Now, both her followers and critics are calling her out for her "racist" rant and even threatening to boycott her SkinnyGirl line, too.

According to Naughty Gossip on Saturday, Frankel was left upset after she wasn't promptly helped while shopping for children's clothing and shoes at her local Kmart store. She took to her social media account to say, "Wow @Kmart has 2 registers open w 5 other employees standing around & two speak no English whatsoever. Shoes are sapatos right? Not even attempting kids' snow boots in Spanish."

Her fans quickly responded with, "Wow bethenny never took you as a racist," one wrote. "Guess your [sic] are voting trump."

Another fan wrote, "Looks like my skinny girl wine is going in trash. U lost a customer."

Yet sources close to the businesswoman say there's a good reason why she's lashing out at the retailer on social media.

"The real reason she is trashing them is because they want nothing to do with her or her skinny girl products," one source told the site, adding, "If you don't want to sell her stuff she will get you back. She isn't the sort of girl that forgives and moves on. If you upset her, she will not rest until she hurts you. Which usually means attacking you in the press, or on social media."

So far Frankel herself has not made any comments about the report.
