'The Fosters' Season 3 Spoilers: Jude & Connor Will 'Do Their Best' To Work Out Long-Distance Relationship [VIDEO]
It's going to be an emotional ride for Jude when The Fosters returns.

As fans remember, the last episode involved Jude's boyfriend Connor moving away to live with his mother. So the two are going to try to keep their romance going while living plenty of miles apart from each other, which won't be easy.
In an interview with Pop City Life on Wednesday, Hayden Byerly (Jude) opened up on what it means now that these guys won't be able to see each other as often as they used to.

"I think the primary thing between the two of them now would be that they're trying to have this long-distance relationship," Byerly said. "They're both finding out what this is really like, and I think they're gonna try to do their best to remain together."
Even though Jude was mature enough to let Connor move away for the sake of his happiness, viewers can expect a not so brave identity for the guy when he faces how he really feels.
"We definitely see a lot of these different moments and emotions kind of wear down on Jude this season," Byerly admitted. "There are some very emotional scenes- even more so than usual for Jude, which is kind of a crazy thing. I always love when I have those moments because I feel like they're always very well done and the writing is always great."
The Fosters returns on Monday, January 25 at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
