Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard have been uncharacteristically quiet on social media lately and their fans can't help but wonder why. In fact, there's speculation that their health might be at risk and that the couple might not be able to get pregnant again because of the Zika virus, as women in El Salvarador are being advised not to get pregnant because of possible side effects.

According to The Inquisitr on Saturday, Jill and Derick are dealing with some major roadblocks during their missionary work in the Central American country. While there's no doubt that they would want to give their 9-month-old son Israel David a younger sibling (in true Duggar fashion), they would be taking a huge risk in getting pregnant right now.

Apparently the mosquito-born Zika virus in being linked to microcephaly in newborns. Those who suffer from the virus are born with abnormally small heads and undeveloped brains.

"El Salvador is now advising women to avoid getting pregnant until 2018. Will Jill follow that advice? Birth control and any type of family planning is evil according to the Duggars," Duggar Family News writes. "It's interfering with God's will. Is the Zika virus God's will? Will Jill advise women in El Salvador of childbearing years to use birth control? I can't imagine she would. Jill ignoring or denying the crisis could be a death sentence for a fetus or a lifelong disability or slow painful death for a baby."

So far neither Jill nor Derick have made any comments about the virus as they haven't posted anything new on their social media accounts in nearly two weeks.
