One Direction 'Take Me Home' Tour Begins in London, VIDEO
The United Kingdom pop band One Direction set off on their Take Me Home world tour, with their first two shows taking place at London's O2 Arena on Feb. 23 and 24.
A fan posted on Twitter a set list of the 21 songs played during the tour concerts, which include tracks from their two albums Up All Night and Take Me Home. The band is scheduled to play Tuesday and Wednesday in the U.K. before performing in Europe and Mexico through June, according to MTV. The tour will then move to the United States later in June, with 1D first stopping in Sunnyside, Fl.
"London that show was incredible last night! Like couldn't believe how crazy you guys were!" Niall Horan tweeted on Monday. "Amazing night! A great weekend of shows all round."
Liam Payne added, "Loving this tour alreadyyy! You guys who have been so far have been incredible! Thank you to everyone for coming to see itttt!"
The band will also be filming their 3-D movie while on tour, which will be released in theaters in August. Horan said the film will have a "documentary side" to it that will give viewers a look into the different personalities the band members have.
One Direction performed their new song One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) at the BRIT Awards on Feb. 20 held in the O2 Arena. That night they took home the award for Global Success in recognition of her two hit albums and the worldwide fan base they have. The band beat Mumford & Sons and Adele in the respective category.
In a new promotional video for the 2013 Kid's Choice Awards, actor Josh Duhamel poked fun at band member Harry Styles by dressing up as him and trying to sing along with What Makes You Beautiful.
