Anna Faris News: Actress Tells Gives Fans Tips On How To Have A Loving Marriage [VIDEO]
Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are one of Hollywood's most genuine married couples and now the actress is opening up with her best tips on how to spark last as long as possible. The blond beauty recently gave her best tips on what to do with a partner during a fight, how to handle an engagement gone wrong and why it's okay to go to bed angry.
According to Us Weekly on Tuesday, Faris said the key to a happy marriage is to not only stay faithful to your partner, but to be as honest and kind as possible, too.
She said, "Don't tease, even if it seems harmless, because that can be a downward...that can be a rapidly increasing spiral, and then you're actually teasing people and it really gets to a bad pattern," before adding, "Be kind and treat one another like you would to a friend. Truly be kind and supportive."
As far as having cold feet, she says there's nothing wrong with it and to get out as fast as possible. "I think if you're engaged and you have doubts, break off the engagement instead of getting married, even though it's embarrassing," she explained.
Faris' biggest tip though comes from the bedroom. "It's OK to go to bed angry. I think men in particular sometimes just need time and they just need it and they won't be able to be rational," she said, adding, "And women too. I don't mean to gender stereotype but they won't be able to think rationally until their anger has dissipated."
Faris and Pratt have been married since 2007. They have one son, 3-year-old Jack.
