Melania Trump might not say much when it comes to addressing the public, but apparently she's a force to be reckoned with behind closed doors. In fact, Donald Trump's wife admits that she's been offering her husband tips on how to handle his campaign in his bid for the Republican party's nomination for the White House.

According to Us Weekly on Wednesday, the former model says that while she rarely opens up about her views in interviews, she likes to be "political" at home.

She said, "I give him ideas and I give him my opinions. Some stuff he listens to."

But apparently, she doesn't tell him how to do his job--something she thinks he's handling well on his own.

Melania added, "That's my husband's job, I leave that to him. I'm very political. I'm not political in public, I'm political at home."

She further explained, "Do I agree with everything he says? No. I have my own opinions too, and I tell him that. Sometimes he takes it in and listens and sometimes he doesn't. But it is who he is, I don't want to change him. He's an adult, he knows what the consequences could be."

And so far it looks like it's working, as Trump is leading in the polls ahead of rivals Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Ben Carson despite his off-the-wall and controversial comments that have been making headlines for months now.
