Oscars 2013: Jennifer Lawrence Best Actress Award Just the Tip of the Iceberg? (Video)
Just two years ago Jennifer Lawrence, then 20, was a candidate for her very first Oscar for her work in Winter's Bone.
The movie as well as her 2011 Oscar nomination put her on the Hollywood radar.
Seven films later she came back for another round of the infamous festivities, only this time she won, taking home the Best Actress Oscar for her performance as a young widow named Tiffany in Silver Linings Playbook.
Lawrence showed audiences her immense range as an actress by pulling off the award-winning role in contrast to the invincible Katniss Everdeen in another one of her hits, The Hunger Games. To top it off, she's even flexed her acting chops in flicks such as X-Men and Like Crazy.
As for her unplanned slip on her way to accepting her award, Lawrence acknowledged the less than ideal moment.
"You guys are just standing up because I fell and that's really embarrassing, but thank you," she joked in her Oscars acceptance speech.
Full of nervous humor backstage, the actress was asked about her on-camera trip up.
"Was that on purpose? Absolutely," she joked. "What went through my mind when I fell down? Uhh a bad word I can't say, that starts with an F."
In terms of her love life, Buzz reported that she and Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper were rumored to be an item, as the two were reportedly in attendance together at a Vanity Fair Pre-Oscar party in New York on Feb. 20. The two A-listers appeared in the highly acclaimed film as a couple and their onscreen chemistry had many viewers wondering whether their romance had parlayed into real-life.
