Harry Styles Hit With Shoe VIDEO: Falls on Floor After Groin is Hit by Ked Sneaker During 1D Concert
One Direction singer Harry Styles fell to the floor in pain live on stage on Tuesday after a person in a crowd threw a shoe at his crotch.
The 19-year-old ex-boyfriend of Taylor Swift was hit while the boy band played at a concert in Glasgow, Scotland with a packed audience.
The incident occurred when the band took a break during the middle of the show to talk with the crowd, according to E! News.
A shoe was thrown on stage by a crowd member that caused Styles to pick it up and ask where the other matching one could be. He soon found out as the other shoe of the pair was hurled at the singer. Styles fell to the stage floor and grabbed his damaged crotch while some of his One Direction friends yelled "Man down!"
The British singer's bandmates Liam Payne and Zayn Malik quickly rushed to help their collapsed friend after they saw he was in pain from the crotch shot.
Styles recovered and carried on the performance after doing a few lunges and stretches on stage to make sure everything was alright.
The shoe that reportedly hit the What Makes You Beautiful singer was a Ked sneaker, according to Vulture.
The below the belt shot was captured on video by a fan and has now gone viral on the web. Security can be seen rushing to find the person responsible but no names have been released.
One Direction started their tour in January and will remain in the UK until April before heading to Europe, Mexico and America.
It is unknown if the band plans on wearing protective cups in case of a repeat attack on stage.
Styles made news during his two month stint as 22-year-old singer Swift's boyfriend which ended in January, according to US Magazine.
