Is Brandon about to find a light at the end of the tunnel on The Fosters?

Chatter On 'The Fosters' Season 3 Winter Premiere

On Monday, Yahoo! TV shared an interview with David Lambert (Brandon) who mentioned how he has a chance of getting into Julliard to become a professional pianist following all the drama that's taken place on the series. But one thing that's getting in the way of that is how expensive it is, which could be an issue.

"Tuition at Julliard is obviously not cheap, so that's one of the things he'll be dealing with," Lambert said. "And as Brandon gets older, too, he's starting to put more adult weights on his shoulders and takes on the obligation of helping with the money situation."

Chatter On 'The Fosters' Season 3 Renewal

It seems like the character will do what he can to work this out, but if he gets into the school, what does this mean for his future? Would Brandon not be part of the series anymore?

"I don't think it'll be that extreme," the actor noted. "I will say, Brandon's pretty stressed out by the whole money thing. I really don't know what's going to happen there. This back half, you really just see him struggle financially with it and it causes him to doubt it and doubt himself, and he sort of goes through these internal moments about it all on top of the money issue."

The Fosters airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
