'Vanderpump' Rules:' Jax Taylor Quits SUR Job & Admits Cheating, Video
Reality television star Jax Taylor quit his job at SUR restaurant, the West Hollywood backdrop to the Bravo spin-off series Vanderpump Rules, which ended its first season on Monday.
In Monday's episode Taylor told his boss Lisa Vanderpump - cast member on her own reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - that he does not want to work at the restaurant anymore.
"I don't feel like this is a healthy place for me to be anymore. And I feel like it's just time for me to move on," he told her. "I can't be good for myself or for her if I'm in the same place with her. And I want her to keep her job, and she's here."
Taylor referred to his relationship with SUR waitress Stassi Schroeder, whom he dated for two years before having an affair with waitress Laura Leign and getting caught having sex with her in the restaurant bathroom.
Vanderpump tried to reason with Taylor by telling him "you change your mind like it's the wind."
"You said to me, 'I love Stassi so much' ... the next day you're with Laura Leigh! I think you've got to hold yourself accountable for how you treat people. I want you to take responsibility," she added.
Taylor then said, "Absolutely. It's time for me to go. This is what I have to do. If I want to be better for myself and for Stassi."
Vanderpump accepted his resignation, though she made it clear that if he needs a job he can work at SUR Lounge.
Also in Monday's episode, Taylor finally admitted to having an affair with a waitress in Las Vegas while dating fellow Schroeder. Throughout the season none of Schroeder's friends believed Taylor cheated on her and Schoeder said, "I had the loneliest summer of my life and finally I was getting some justification."
