Jennifer Lacy, an American women's basketball player of the Tulsa Shock, was named one of the Top 20 Basketball Players of 2012, by Bleacher's report. Her ex-girlfriend, Chamique Holdsaw is accused of attacking her on Nov. 13 in Atlanta.

Lacy and Holdslaw enjoyed a professional and romantic relationship when they were both teammates for the Atlanta Dream in 2009.

Holdsclaw was much more known, she'd been an All-Star for six years, had an Olympic gold medal, and still holds score records from college. But fame turned in to violence for Holdsclaw, when she was arrested for attacking Lacy after an incident that started at a church.

On Wednesday, a grand jury returned a six-count indictment against Holdsclaw, according to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office.

According to the DA's office, Lacy drove down a street when she noticed someone believed to be the Holdsclaw was following her. She immediately pulled over near, but before she could exit the vehicle, Holdsclaw allegedly began to strike the victim's car with a baseball bat- shattering several windows. A shot was then fired into the vehicle but Lacy was not injured. Holdsclaw turned herself in to authorities later that day.

Hours after the attack on Nov. 14, Holdsclaw tweeted, "Everything is a lesson learned. We all make decisions good and bad. As long as we grow from them that's all that matters. #lessonlearned"

Lacy graduated from Agoura Hills High School in Agoura Hills, California, in 2001. She was heavily recruited by Arizona, California, UC Santa Barbara and Washington, but ended up playing college basketball at Pepperdine.

Her dad is former Major League Baseball player Leondaus "Lee" Lacy, who played as an outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles, primarily as an outfielder, from 1972-1987.

Holdsclaw is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage in the First Degree, two counts of Criminal Damage in the Second Degree and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
