Etta James' Funeral: Rev. Al Sharpton, Stevie Wonder and Aguilera attend
The funeral of legenday singer Etta James was held Saturday morning at a Los Angeles Church where hundreds of his friends, fans and family were expepcted to attend.
The funeral at the Greater Bethany Community Church City of Refuge in Gardena began at 10 a.m. PST and was presided by Rev. Al Sharpton.
Christina Aguilera was set to perform James' hit "At Last," and Stevie Wonder was scheduled to perform with the church's choir, reports USA Today.
Etta James died January 20th at age 73 from complications of leukemia.
James began her career in the 50s and gained fame with hits such as "At Last", "Tell Mama", and "I'd Rather Go Blind."
She won six Grammys and 17 Blues Music Awards. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, the Blues Hall of Fame in 2001, and the Grammy Hall of Fame in both 1999 and 2008.
