Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Seperated But She's 'Counting The Minutes' Until He Returns From Australia
A week after a report came out claiming that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were pretending to be together to not affect sales of the final Twilight DVD, an insider close to the couple said they have been keeping in touch regularly through phone calls and text messages.
The source told E! News Stewart really misses her beau and has been "counting down the minutes until he is home."
Fans of the couple need not worry: Pattinson, 26, still has feelings for Stewart, 23, but the British hunk had to fly 8,000 miles away to work. Stewart and Pattinson have been apart since he flew to Australia on Jan. 17 to film his upcoming movie The Rover.
"He loves her, but he wants to work, too-which is understandable," the insider added. "They are absolutely still together. They are totally fine."
The source also debunked claims that the couple split because Stewart did not fly to Australia to be with Pattinson for Valentine's Day.
In an earlier report, a source said Stewart didn't fly to Australia to be with her man because she didn't want to be a distraction on his movie set. The actress held off visiting him because she is "smart enough to know that if she goes to visit, it will bring too much unwanted attention to the film," an insider told E! News.
Stewart attended the 85th annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24 with the most-talked about accessory of the night - a pair of crutches. She told Anne Hathaway backstage at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles that night that she cut her foot recently after stepping on glass.
"I just hope [the wound] doesn't open up right now," Stewart reportedly told Hathaway.
An insider who attended the Oscars revealed that Stewart, who presented an award with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, was "extremely sad" at the awards ceremony.

The couple's last movie they filmed together, Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn- Part 2, recently won seven Razzies at the 33rd annual Golden Raspberry Awards. The DVD release for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2 is set for March 2.
