Since it was announced that Lisa Vanderpump will compete on the new season of Dancing with the Stars, she said she received warm wishes and support from fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members Brandi Glanville and Kyle Richards.

In a recent interview with E! News Vanderpump revealed that she received texts and tweets from her two costars and that "they are being very supportive." She added that her husband, Kenn Todd, is excited to see his wife take to the dance floor and compete for the mirror ball trophy against competitors such as Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and comedian Andy Dick.

"He loves watching me gyrate with a 29-year-old man," she said with a laugh. "Ha, no, he's fine about it.

Vanderpump's professional dance partner for the ABC show, Gleb Savchenko, is also a newcomer. She said about him, "I've met my partner and I'm excited. I am nervous about everything though" and joked that her dog Giggy might even make an appearance on the show - "I am sure. He is the man in my life."

Aside from filming both DWTS and The Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump owns the West Hollywood restaurant SUR. She had a spin-off reality show about employees of her restaurant called Vanderpump Rules, which aired the final episode of its first season on Monday. Production for Housewives begins in April, according to the news report, and with an already busy schedule Vanderpump revealed why she signed on to compete in DWTS:

"I did it because it's an honor to be asked. I think it's one of the most glamorous shows on television," she said "It's exciting and such a challenge, but I am nervous."

"I'm not sure how I am going to fit everything in with the restaurants and businesses and of course Housewives," she added, "but I will make it work."

DWTS season 16 premiered on March 28 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Click here for a full list of the DWTS cast and their partners.
