Miami Heat Harlem Shake VIDEO Led By Lebron James Goes Viral [WATCH]
The Miami Heat joined the Harlem Shake dance frenzy by putting on a show in their team's locker room.
The Harlem Shake theme is the song of the same name and countless videos have surfaced on the web where one person starts dancing, then the camera cuts to a large group of people, dancing in a costume.
The Miami Heat are dressed in different types of costumes and used many props in the team's rendition of the Harlem Shake.
The YouTube clip uploaded on Thursday presented Lebron James and teammates dancing to Baauer's hit tune while dressed in outrageous costumes from "Mario Brothers" to "Phantom of the Opera."
It was filmed in Miami's locker room, with James saying it was a "King James and DwyaneWade" production.
The video begins with the players in the locker room, doing normal activities like reading and stretching on the floor dressed in their warm-up gear. Chris Anderson, better known as "The Birdman" starts the 56-second clip by dancing around his teammates in a bird-like arm motion.
James wears a king's costume with a robe and crown. Mario Chalmers is a "Super Mario" character dressed in overalls and white gloves and Anderson is a bird. Chris Bosh wears a bathrobe, cowboy sunglasses and holds a radio boombox. Ray Allen is the phantom of the locker room and Dwayne Wade is unrecognizable as a bear.
"Got something for y'all at 7:15. Stay tuned," James tweeted on Feb. 28. "A King James and @DwyaneWade aka W.O.W productions."
Chalmers also took to Twitter to express his fun and excitement about his team's funny video.
"In life u gotta figure out how to have fun and enjoy it. Hope y'all enjoy," Chalmers wrote on Twitter. Soon after, he retweeted Bosh's post "Good Times."
The Heat have also gotten widespread attention lately for their pregame warmup dunk contests, videos of which have also gone viral.
In NBA news, the reigning champions also have the league's longest current winning streak -- 12 straight going into Friday's game with Memphis.
"Have entered the craze," Wade tweeted on Feb. 28.
