David and Victoria Beckham are a couple that love to talk about their strict parenting and how their children need to work for everything they have in life, but it looks like their son Brooklyn Beckham may have taken quite the shortcut. The 16-year-old star and his parents are being blasted for what many critics are calling nepotism after he was hired by Burberry to shoot their latest ad campaign.

According to the popular gossip blog Celebitchy, the young Beckham was chosen to shoot the campaign, much to the dismay of professional photographers from all over the world. And now, even the Beckhams' fans are slamming the couple along with the fashion industry for giving Brooklyn an opportunity that other people can only dream of.

Many comments include, "I know nepotism happens in all industries, not just in this one, and I know anyone in his position would have taken the job, but this makes me sick. And it makes me angry," along with, "People who get those jobs when they have all the connections only think they work as hard as other people do. They don't, because they work in optimal circumstances."

Another critic wrote, "Maybe he has some talent but theres no doubt this is nepotism of the most obvious sort. Last year this kid was going to be a footballer when that didn't work he decides he wants to try photography, within months he shoots a major fashion campaign. Nepotism at its worst."

So far the Beckhams have not made any comments about the criticism.
