'The Blacklist' Season 3: Will Tom Go To Far To Protect Liz? Ryan Eggold & EP Tease 'Alistar Tate' [VIDEO]
If The Blacklist's Tom Keen is certain of one thing, it's that he and Liz belong together.
Mr. and Mrs. Keen have had a tumultuous past few seasons, in no small part due to Tom's (Ryan Eggold) infinite laundry list of lies. As of the season 2, finale, however, it appeared the former couple had moved past spying, kidnapping, and thumb breaking. Now that Lizzie (Megan Boone) is carrying his child, Tom wants nothing more than to restart a quiet life far from Red.
The question is, will he succeed or not? Eggold believes his character will do his best to ensure a better future for Liz.
Tom will even go so far as to turn to an old flame/mark for a helping hand. Gina Zanetakos will return for a two-episode arc, but she may cause more trouble than she's worth.
"Tom's going to turn to Gina in a moment of desperation for some help," series creator Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly. "It's going to be fun to see him turn back to somebody who he was essentially in a similar relationship to with Liz. He had been undercover playing her significant other."
"Alistar Tate" will see the pair make out, but their mission will inevitably go awry as "Lady Ambrosia" begins (see video below). The Feb. 11 episode will see "Tom face shocking consequences after his plan to help Liz goes awry."
