Cynthia Bailey has set out to clear up the whole BFF drama on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Drama Explodes On 'RHOA' With Scandals, Rumors & Shade
Now that NeNe Leakes is back, it’s no secret her return has put a rift between Bailey and her good friend Kenya Moore, who got close when Leakes and Bailey’s huge fallout aired on the show.
It wasn’t too surprising to some that now that Leakes is on the show and she and Bailey’s friendship is back to a good place, Bailey set the record straight on what she and Moore really are—and it’s not BFFs. But her claim to not be that close with Moore definitely put them in an awkward place and even caused some of Bailey’s co-stars to accuse her flip flopping her friendship because of Leakes’ comeback.
Cynthia Bailey Claps Back At Critics
Bailey cleared the air with Bravo Wednesday and pointed out that she never referred to Moore as one of her best friends to begin with (even though Moore gave their friendship the title earlier this season).
“There are other friendships in the group besides me and Kenya or me and NeNe. No one seems to really focus on them or question whether or not they are besties. I love Kenya and my relationship with her, but to my knowledge I have never referred to her as my best friend. We have become very close friends over the past couple of years, and I look forward to many more.”
She also confirmed that she and Leakes are still doing just fine and even re-signed that infamous “friendship contract” to reinstate it.
