In the April 2013 issue of Vanity Fair, songstress Taylor Swift revealed the reason behind her split with One Direction singer Harry Styles, saying everything spiraled downward following a text message from the United Kingdom native.

Swift, 23, graced the cover of the magazine and in her interview with contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales the topic of her ex-boyfriends came up. Although the I Knew You Were Trouble singer said she does not discuss personal details of her relationships, she allowed someone to discuss them with Sales.

The source said of Styles "He wore her down" and allegedly "chased" Swift for a year.

"He was all, like, 'You're amazing-I want to be with you. I want to do this,' " the source added.

However, the relationship ended after Styles texted Swift to to let her know about a picture circulating on the Internet of him kissing a friend good-bye. The source said it looked like they were "making out like with their hands all up in each other's hair."

After Swift ended the relationship, Styles chased her for roughly a year until she finally took him back.

"But the whole time she says she feels like he's looking at every girl," the source continued.

When they were in London together he "disappears one night and after that it was like he just didn't want to keep going." Styles's rep, Benny Tarantini at Columbia Records, told the magazine that all of Swift's source's claims are "undeniably false."

The source also talked about other ex-boyfriend's of Swift's, saying Swift called Conor Kennedy "awesome."

In the April 2013 issue of the magazine Swift also talked about Amy Poehler and Tina Fey mocking her at the Golden Globes, the character traits of her ideal guy and the rumors of her being "boy crazy." Click here for more details from her interview.
