Ronald Fenty spoke with Mirror earlier this month and said that despite Rihanna’s toxic relationship with Brown, which included a brutal physical assault back in 2009, he is still supportive of Brown.
He said it is “tough” when Rihanna sings about the infamous moment on her latest project, Anti, but Fenty has offered Brown forgiveness.

“Chris will always have a place in our family and my heart. He respects me, calls me pops and I like him–despite what happened. He’s very talented and always humble.”
But what is really shocking is that his support goes beyond Brown’s career. He also confessed he would not be totally against Rihanna and Brown sparking up their romance again.
“I’d support them being together.”
As for Rihanna, she details the moment like never before on the track "Love On The Brain."
She sings, “It beats me black and blue but it f***** me so good / And I can’t get enough.”
Fenty said of the lyrics, “I like her stories but this song was tough to listen to. It was a very difficult time for the whole family. Nobody wants to see their daughter hurt.”
He goes on to outline how he found out about the incident.
“I remember I had a phone call from one of her old security guards, he told me and a biker gang were going to ride to Chris for revenge. I was angry, but’s a long way to go, I wanted to go. I told them to give me a few days because I felt like doing it myself, you know?”
He said he planned to fly to Los Angeles from Barbados but “cooled down” the next day.
“She doesn’t know about this, she was going through enough.”
