'The Fosters' Season 3 Spoilers: Gabriel Does Not React Well To Jesus's Personal Questions, Watch Scene Here [VIDEO]
It's going to be a struggle for Jesus to get to know his birth father on The Fosters.
Chatter On 'The Fosters' Father's Day Episode
In a sneak peek released on Wednesday, Jesus is working at the construction site with Gabriel, but it's not really the best place to communicate. Instead of meeting for a cup of coffee, the two are working hard labor as Jesus asks the guy a bunch of questions about his life. He wants to know where he grew up, where he went to high school and when he graduated.
As it turns out, Gabriel didn't graduate high school. Jesus doesn't seem to mind that, but based on Gabriel's reaction, the conversation is just plain uncomfortable.

Jesus then gets a little more personal when he asks about his birth father's family. But Gabriel stops that right away and asks him if he's ever used a tool that can lead to a serious injury. In fact, Gabriel had one that led to stitches.
All in all, the point being made is if Jesus wants to work on the site, he needs to leave the personal questions aside. As long as he just focuses on the job, then no one will get hurt--physically, at least.
It appears that Gabriel just has no interest in Jesus being a part of his life, which may not go down well for his birth son who might have to face that reality.
