JoJo Talks Music, Men, and Making a Comeback
The little girl with a big voice is back. Just thirteen when she topped charts with her single "Leave (Get Out)" in 2004, the now 21-year-old has grown up and is taking back the spotlight. Her next album, Jumping Trains reveals how much she's grown.
"I've never stopped recording, so it's kind of taken on a new shape as time has gone on," JoJo recently told Yahoo's omg!. "And, you know, I'm still in the creative process. Whenever I'm inspired, I'll go in the studio and just lay down my thoughts [about] what's going on."
JoJo also talks about how her voice and style has changed since her last album. Now that she's older, she's had more life experiences to base her music on-mostly with relationships, but the singer is mainly 'married' to her career at the moment.
"I actually have a treble clef tattoo on my ring finger," she explained. "I guess that can be kind of daunting to see, especially for a guy. I mean, until there's a big shiny rock over that tattoo, music is my commitment, music is what'll take precedence over any man."
