Jennifer Lawrence Bullied at School; Thinks She's Boring [VIDEO]
Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence opened up about being bullied when she was younger.
In an interview with The Sun, Lawrence, 22, said that she was bullied throughout her childhood, which gave the actress her character. However, she didn't back down.
"I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can," she told The Sun, showing a hint of Katniss.
Lawrence, who recently won the Oscar for Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook, said she had to move schools a lot.
"They were less mean in middle school, because I was doing all right, although this one girl gave me invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn't invited to," she told the publication.
Based on her experience, Lawrence added, "Don't worry about the b******," explaining that it's common to come across negative people in life.
Despite Lawrence's biting personality and witty sense of humor, which really ignited in her post-Oscars press interview, she also told the publication that she thinks she is boring, and she wouldn't want to play a boring person on the big screen.
Yet her recent roles in films such as the Hunger Games were anything but boring. The second Hunger Games will be released in November 2013.
Lawrence was also nominated in 2010 for the Best Actress Oscar for Winter's Bone.
