Miley Cyrus Split With Liam Hemsworth? Parties With Mystery Man Same Day She's Without Engagement Ring
After Miley Cyrus stepped out without her Neil Lane engagement ring on Wednesday night, the singer was also spotted with a mystery man the same day.
The Hannah Montana actress spent some time working on her new album at a recording studio and was not greeted by fiancé Liam Hemsworth, instead an unknown dark-haired man. The mystery guy arrived at the studio in his own car, but then drove off in Cyrus' Porsche Cayenne as they headed to a friend's birthday party together.
Hollywood Life reported that the two spent nearly two hours at the party.
After denying rumors that she called off the wedding to Hemsworth, she recently ranted on Twitter to her defense.
"I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining," she tweeted Wednesday.
An hour later, she followed up with: "My new music is gonna shut everyone up," adding, "not discussing anything but my music from now on."
The breakup rumors started back in February around Oscar weekend when Hemsworth reportedly was seen "kissing" Mad Men co-star January Jones.
"Liam got January's coat and helped her put it on, then they headed outside. They made sure to leave a few seconds apart, so they wouldn't attract too much attention," a source said. "Then they jumped into a waiting car and took off."
A different report also claimed that Hemsworth flirted with Harry Potter actress Emma Watson.
The report said that Hemsworth was "chatting closely" with Watson. They two were reportedly very non-chalant and he "seemed to find a reason to touch her [Watson] somewhere, shoulder, hand, knee, as often as possible."
A source close to Cyrus said she still wants to get married to Hemsworth, but like any other couple she and her fiancé are working through their problems.
"Miley is upset and angry about the cheating rumors," a source said of the split rumors that began in late February.
"They have always had a passionate relationship and they have a very strong physical attraction, but they have different personalities and backgrounds," the source said. Adding, "this makes their relationship very complicated."
