Adele Announces Comeback at Grammy Awards
Adele confirmed via Twitter she will perform at the Grammy Awards.
"Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait, speak soon xx," she tweeted.
The 22-year-old British singer underwent throat surgery in November to repair a hemorrhaged vocal cord, which forced her to cancel her US and UK tours. The upcoming performance marks Adele's return to the stage.
"It's an absolute honour to be included in such a night and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all," said Adele in an official statement.
Adele is nominated for six Grammys this year, including record of the year for "Rolling in the Deep". She is also expected to perform at the BRIT Awards on February 21.
The Grammy Awards air February 12 on CBS.
