Singer Zendaya Coleman is definitely making moves this year already and now rumor has it that her love life is on point too. But her father is setting the record straight.

She was spotted leaving a Grammy after party with NFL player Odell Beckham, according to TMZ Monday. A reporter asked Coleman for details on her and Beckham’s seemingly budding relationship. They grilled Coleman on if they met via “The Internet” or had “mutual friends.”
She was unbothered and asked, “How did we meet? I don’t know…”While trying to find her car." Her father was not far behind.

Coleman goes to open the door but her dad can be heard telling the athlete to get it for her. He tries but he is a little too late. He then has a small mishap when he goes to close the door before getting in the back seat.
That leaves the space open for Coleman’s dad to get questioned about what’s going on.
“What relationship?” he responds when asked if he “approves.” “There’s no relationship. We’re just friends.”
He also makes it clear he is “absolutely” serving as chaperon on their date.
“When you see my daughter out on a date without me, it’s a relationship. It’s like an audition…It’s an interview.”
It’s not clear how Beckham did on the trial date or how Coleman felt about her father stepping in.
