Bieber suffered a bad week in London and canceled one of his tour stops in Portugal, but things may be looking up regarding his love life with Selena Gomez if the actress' new movie Spring Breakers flops in the box office.

The Hollywood Life reported that a close source to Gomez said she loved dating Bieber and the fame that followed their relationship. If her movie does bad in the theaters, she might turn to the pop sensation for love and support. "Selena loved being in the celebrity scene when she was with Justin, it was just a completely different level," the source said.

Sources have said Gomez indeed achieved a new attention with Bieber. While Spring Breakers has high expectations and also has given her even more fame, she fears that it won't be enough. Gomez may be "back to the drawing board," a source said.

Gomez has been busy promoting her new film during the 2012 SXSW Music, Film & Interactive Festival at the Paramount Theatre Sunday.

The actress attended the green room and Q & A for Spring Breakers with actors Rachel Korine, Ashley Benson and James Franco along with director Harmony Korine, where she looked gorgeous in a tropical Dolce & Gabbana outfit.

She wore a high-waisted, orange pencil skirt balanced out with a printed bustier top, creating a sexy but cute look that was still age-appropriate for the 20-year-old actress.

Although Gomez has been busy promoting her film, Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette is reportedly setting a meeting between her son and his ex in an attempt to calm down his recent wild behavior. According to a report, Mallette has already got the former couple speaking on good terms.

"Selena is incredibly grounded and very mature for one so young. She was a superb, calming influence on Justin and didn't stand for any of his nonsense. She is also just as big as star as hi which meant there was no ego with either of them," a source told The Mirror.
