David Beckham was spotted with a large bandage on his lower back while playing soccer in Paris on Saturday that may hint to the addition of his latest tattoo.

The 37-year-old British soccer star led his team to victory as the Paris Saint Germain won the game against AS Nancy-Lorraine 2-1 at the Parc des Princes stadium.

The whole Beckham family was present at the stadium as his wife Victoria cheered with their children, according to Just Jared.

The crowd also saw that Beckham was sporting a large bandage on the back with photos available at The Daily Mail, prompting speculation that the British soccer star inked a new tattoo.

However, Beckham's spokesperson denied he had received some new ink.

If Beckham did in fact get a new tattoo, it would join the 17 other pieces of body art that he has.

Each of the tattoos has an important significance with many allegedly dedicated to his wife and their children: three sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, 7, and 19-month-old daughter Harper.

Some of the ink includes names and images of his family that can be found all over his body.

Beckham reportedly has not been inked since October 2011 when his wife posted a picture on Twitter of her husband with the brand new "Love" word tattooed over his hand. The couple's youngest child Harper Seven is seen gripping one of Beckham's fingers with the caption: "Harper loves Daddy's new tattoo of love."

The sports icon was asked about his tattoos during a question and answer Twitter feed in February on the H&M account to promote his Bodywear line at the retailer.

A fan asked which of his tattoos was his favorite and if he had any more planned.

"My favorites are the ones about my children, no new ones planned yet, have to find some space," Beckham replied, according to Hello Magazine.
