Amanda Bynes has surfaced in Los Angeles, and she's looking a bit different than she used to.

According to a report by OK! Magazine, the former child actress was sporting a "fuller figure" when she was photographed with friends while smoking a cigarette and enjoying a meal.

In 2014, Bynes spiraled out of control and after a number of odd instances, including a report regarding Bynes starting a fire in someone's driveway and a separate incident in which she was accused of throwing a bong out of a New York City window, she was placed on a psychiatric hold.

Since then, she's been doing much better.

"[Bynes] seems like she's in a much better place" as she continues her studies at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, E! News reported on Wednesday.

"She keeps to herself, but she seems really healthy and focused on her schooling," the source said. "She seems like she's in a much better place and she looks great."

"No one really treats her any differently because she's Amanda Bynes," the source added. "You can tell she really just wants to be a normal student. Everyone at FIDM is really chill and respects her and her space."
