Maria Menounos is bringing positivity to the Oscar Awards!

And it’s all for a good cause. The E! News beauty is set to shed light on the water crisis in developing countries at the Academy Awards. She has joined forces with Stella Artois in partnership with Water.org, and designer Christian Siriano to create a unique piece to strut on the red carpet. The dress will feature limited edition Stella Artois Chalices, that were created from artists in Kenya, Peru and Haiti.

Fans will be able to buy one of the chalices for the $13. Each one that is sold will help provide a person in a developing country with five years of clean water. Enstarz caught up with Menounos on the initiative, what she expects to see at the Oscars amid the controversy and of course the ‘Divas!’

Enstarz: Your partnership with Stella Artois is pretty huge; and the idea to wear a dress that will bring light to water issues around the world amazing. Can you tell me a little about it?
Maria Menounos: I thought it was amazing. Christian is designing my Oscar dress. It’s gonna [bring attention] to the millions of women around the world who aren’t gonna be able to walk the red carpet. Instead they’re walking miles and miles a day just to get water for their families. We’re honoring them and raising awareness for the global water crisis.

It’s all about the chalices. Each one that we sell will give a person in a developing world five years of water. Five years of clean water with one $13 challenge. It’s a different kind of impact. Usually it’s a fashion impact but for me this one is extra special. This year it’s a social impact.

How did you team up with Christian Siriano for the dress?
Christian and I sat down and we sketched some ideas over the gown. It’s inspired by the chalice. So when you see it has elements of the chalice and water. We picked two so we have a backup just in case!

You’re switching it up this year with the dress, but what’s one ritual you have to do before an awards show?
Honey, I was just talking about this today. I’m kind of lame. The most I will get in is like using an exfoliator and a spray tan. I mean, I don’t really do much. But I know I will get my nails done! A good glam team is all you need.

Other than rocking your dress at the big show, what’s something else you look forward to seeing at the Oscars this year?
I’m excited to see all the fashion. Plus, I’m sure [host] Chris Rock is going to be really funny as we expect. I’m sure he’ll address the ‘#OscarsSoWhite’…That’ll be interesting. For me, I’m excited to be there on behalf of E! News. It’s global for the first time. So my family in Greece and my friends in Australia will get to see me. I’m really excited about that.

That’s awesome! Ok, let’s swtich gears for a moment and talk sports. Do you have plans to participate in Wrestlemania again this year? Like get back in the ring, or maybe host the red carpet?
I don’t have official confirmation. But I will say I’ve been there many times. I’m hoping they will have me back. I love WWE they’re like my family.

So how did the Divas respond when you were booked to beat them? Were they jealous at all?
They were great. They’re always great.

You’re also a die-hard Patriots fan. So how hard was it to see them lose in the AFC Championship game this year? Did them winning the Super Bowl last year help soften the blow at all?
I think I still have my bruise on my thigh because I slapped myself so hard! We were so close. I was really bummed out like anybody else. It was not a good game. But we’ll be back!

You once called yourself a ‘violent’ Celtics fan. How happy are you that they are back to being one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference?
They’re doing so great! I’m really, really excited…But I feel like this season I haven’t been able to keep up. I have to watch a little bit more.

You’ve been very vocal about weight loss and health. What workout tips would you give to someone trying to have a healthier lifestyle?
I have a new book coming out in March called The EveryGirl’s Guide To Cooking. I always talk about my weight loss journey. It was partly due to taking control of my diet. It was filled with tons and tons of healthy, delicious, simple recipes…Whether they’re a cook or not. I kind of guide you through the process. Give you some simple ideas.”

Menounos will debut her highly anticipated gown on E!’s Live From the Red Carpet: The 2016 Academy Awards’ coverage on Sunday Feb. 28 starting at 1:30PM EST.
