She knows that her fiance is definitely hiding something about what happened when he left the country with Ava (Tamara Braun), and now, thanks to Ava's newest scheme, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will learn the truth about what happened between her and Steve (Stephen Nichols) on Days of Our Lives.

Steve has assured her that the only reason he went off with Ava was to get her back, and the only condition had been that he help Ava track down the boy she claimed was their son. However, she has picked up on the tension between him and their son, Joey (James Lastovic), who walked in on a moment where Steve and Ava had been kissing on the couch and knew deep down that he wasn't telling her everything.

Now, she will learn the truth after a conniving Ava sends her a message on her phone with the evidence that something more happened.

After watching the video Ava made of her and Steve having sex, Kayla will be devastated that Steve went as far as he did--and since he didn't come clean with her in the beginning, it will become infinitely more difficult for him to explain that the only reason he did it was because Ava's real conditions for getting Kayla back involved them sleeping together. And with the video evidence, it may become even more difficult for the couple to overcome--which will play right into Ava's hands.
