Between Beyonce’s latest Formation and Kendrick Lamar’s Alright, both artists have both made some pretty socially-conscious hits. So it’s no surprise that they were spotted hanging out this weekend with her husband rapper Jay Z. But what is pretty funny is what happened on Twitter after.

Beyonce’s Latest Business Move Reportedly ‘Shocked’ Jay Z

One fan shared a snapshot of the trio at the Los Angeles Clippers versus Golden State Warriors game Saturday and hinted that Kendrick was pressuring Jay Z to choose with song he liked better. And based on Jay Z’s face, he had a hard time deciding.

Another pointed out that the two could have been working on a remix; which also didn’t necessarily make Jay Z happy.

One fan went as far as saying that the rappers were actually enjoying the moment and it was Beyonce who was planning to take over the world.

One joked that Kendrick was Jay Z’s teacher telling Beyonce about him being too chatty in class.

Another said that Beyonce and Kendrick had a little disagreement.

One wondered if they were dishing on police’s recent announcement of a boycott of Beyonce’s upcoming concerts.

Another said that Kendrick and Beyonce were coming up with a master plan that Jay Z wanted “no parts” in at all.

One fan said that Kendrick preferred to sit by Beyonce and wanted to make sure it happened by the end of the game.

Another joked that Kendrick went extremely deep when Jay Z asked how he was enjoying the game.

One pointed out that Kendrick hoped one of his songs didn’t become a topic of conversation.
