Jared Fogle News: Subway Guy Reportedly Wants New Hearing, Claims Fantasies Are Not Part Of Crime? [VIDEO]
It seems like Jared Fogle might be trying to manipulate the court system a bit.
Jared Fogle's Divorce Gets Finalized
On Saturday, TMZ reported that the former spokesman for Subway, who was sentenced to more than 15 years behind bars on child pornography and other charges, is trying to find a way to twist things around on what he's being punished for. Apparently, he believes that he was sentenced longer than necessary due to his fantasies, something that is not part of the crime.
"This defendant is obsessed with child pornography and having sex with minors," Fogle's lawyers said. "He fantasized about it in telephone conversations."

The man's lawyers are adding that Fogle's thoughts should not have a part of his criminal sentence. They also quote another decision made in court that says, "We are loath to give the government the power to punish us for our thoughts and not our actions."
Fogle's attorneys then reportedly claim that his fantasies and "requests to third parties" were never acted upon, but were relied on by the judge. And now, Fogle wants the appeals court to give him another hearing.
Fogle's scandal became one of the biggest headlines in the past year as frightening details were released on what the man had allegedly done with minors. This allegedly involved not just pornography, but as well as alleged traveling to have sex with underage girls.
