Yolanda Foster is battling Lyme disease with healthy eating.

'RHOBH' Yolanda Foster Will Now Be Known As Yolanda Hadid, But Why?

Nearly four years into her health battle, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is getting strict about what she puts into her body, and in a new interview, she dished on her diet.

"You know, I've learned in these past four years that a lot of toxicity that is in our body comes from food and preservatives and the things we eat," she told Bravo TV. "I've gotten really serious these past couple of years about eating clean, eating healthy foods--fruits, vegetables--and it really takes down the inflammation in my body and my symptoms are less. I'ts not a cure but it definitely is a very important part of getting well."

Foster also spoke out about her eating plan in her Bravo blog last week.

"I’m am excited to start another healthy week of nourishing my body with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, energizing and immune-building foods," she told fans. "During this week I will be consuming over 35 different types of vegetables and 14 different types of beans, nuts and seeds. You really are what you eat, especially for those of us who battle chronic disease. Keeping the inflammation down to a minimum is key and relieves a lot of symptoms."
