Jennifer Aniston Wedding: Chelsea Handler On 'Katie', 'I Don't Know Anything About It' (WATCH VIDEO)
Jennifer Aniston is set to wed this year but she is reportedly keeping all of her friends, including Chelsea Handler and her own mother in the dark.
Aniston's pal Chelsea Handler revealed on Katie that although Aniston is her best friend, she doesn't "know anything about it."
"I know she's engaged that's all I know," Handler told Katie Couric. "I'm sure I'll find out about it when it's about to happen ... for privacy issues."
"She doesn't consult me on her plans," Handler added.
Couric asked Handler if she will be a bridesmaid in Aniston's wedding.
"Would you ask me to be a flower girl? I mean seriously," Handler joked. "I'm not getting married but I would ask you to be a bridesmaid."
"Bridesmaids are tricky," Handler added. "If I got married I wouldn't even have a bridesmaid. [My talk show sidekick Chuy Bravo] would be my flower girl - or no, ring bearer. See! I don't even know what happens at weddings."
Handler said her BFF is "happy, of course" in her new relationship and that Aniston's fiance, Theoroux, is "a great guy."
A family insider revealed that Aniston's mother, Nancy Dow is on standby waiting for a phone call with details.
"One person who has been told to expect a call is Jen's mom Nancy," a source told Radar Online. "She has been told to hang by the phone for a call any day now with all the arrangements."
The source said that those that have been invited were told to expect a phone call the day of the nuptials on a "short notice." They have been instructed that they will have to "drop everything they are doing and head to the location" when the location is revealed on Aniston's special day.
Dow, 76, will attend the wedding thanks to Aniston's fiance. She was not invited to Aniston's first wedding to her first husband Brad Pitt. According to the insider, it was Theroux who convinced Aniston to patch things up and invite her family.
"Nancy can't wait to be there at Jen's big day having missed out on her first wedding to Brad," the source said. "Justin believes strongly in family values and has managed to convince Jennifer that, despite their differences in the past, Nancy deserves a wedding invitation. Nancy and Jennifer have had their ups and downs, but they're going to let bygones be bygones and she will be invited to her daughter's wedding," added the insider.
