While chart topper Adele has shied away from big-name collaborations such as Beyonce, Macklemore, Rihanna, and many more, there's a good chance that she might consider this one. There's a new report that says Phil Collins still wants to work with the British singer, despite a brief collaboration which has so far yielded no results.

In a new interview with People Magazine, Collins says he would still love the opportunity to work with Adele as he thinks both artists would definitely benefit the both of them.

When asked who he would like to work with in the future, Collins simply said, "Adele actually," before adding, "She's just the strongest artist to come out in recent years. I just think she just handles herself really well. She's just very smart . . . she's just really good."

Collins says that he first met the talented 25-year-old beauty in London five years ago but unfortunately didn't know who she was at the time.

He added, "I quickly found out and wow . . . I did a crash course on Adele. She was very very sweet, I made her a cup of tea. She sat down and said 'I would love to write with you' and I said 'great' and she gave me this piece of music and I liked it and she said, 'Well, finish it.' "

Unfortunately the project never came to fruition as he further explains, "I couldn't really do justice to the bit that she had given me and then she got difficult to find."

So far, Adele hasn't responded to Collins' plea to work with her. Keep up with Enstars for all the latest news on Adele and all of your favorite celebrities right here.
