Jamie Dornan has been rather quiet lately and apparently, there's a good reason why.

There's speculation that the Irish actor feels completely humiliated after he took home a good number of Razzie Awards for his role as Christian Grey in last year's blockbuster film, 50 Shades of Grey. Insiders suspect that the embarrassment of winning so many Razzies--which are considered the anti-Oscar awards--are going to crush his chances of ever becoming considered as one of Hollywood's heavyweights in the entertainment world.

To make matters even worse, Dornan's participation in the 50 Shades series might even be one of the reasons why he hasn't picked up any high-profile Hollywood projects yet.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Monday, Dornan, along with Dakota Johnson, took home the honors for "Worst Actor," "Worst Actress" and "Worst Screen Combo" for 2015. And while both Dornan and Johnson haven't made any comments about the anti-honors, many suspect that it's an insult the actor is definitely taking to heart.

The site wrote, "So...does Jamie Dornan refuse to admit that the less than positive reviews by movie critics for Fifty Shades of Grey will follow the model turned actor? Is there another reason movie directors are not bursting the doors to offer Dornan fabulous roles? Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson might have expected this movie to be the pinnacle from which their careers took off. Sad to say, it really has not been."
