'Damn Daniel' VIDEO: Stars Of Popular Clip Open Up On Fame & What They Might Do Next From Here
The stars of 'Damn Daniel' opened up on their newly found fame.
'Damn Daniel' Creator Becomes Victim Of Nasty Prank
'Damn Daniel' became one of the biggest Internet sensations of the year when a video of high school student Daniel Lara went viral as his friend Josh Holz recorded him and said the phrase 'Damn Daniel' over and over. And now, in an interview with ABC, the teenagers dished on why they thought this video became such a big deal.
Holz said it was probably because of the way his voice sounded while Lara added it was "stupid funny humor."

The video has been retweeted more than 300,000 times and has even gotten some parodies.
"My Twitter feed was just non-stop," Holz said. "It just kept saying 20 plus, 20 plus, 20 plus."
Unfortunately, this kind of fame can have consequences that aren't always for the best. Holz said that friends have started treating them differently while it's not the same attending school.
"School's a little different," Lara said. "You know, we take some photos. We talk to the teachers, you know, they ask about it."
Lara then mentioned that as this trendiness comes to an end, he might put out another video. And Holz did record him in an ABC van where he used that iconic voice once again.
The new superstar then pointed out what else he might do with his life.
"Probably do some charity work," he mentioned. "Maybe continue the social media, maybe modeling, commercials."
