'Lonely Island' Movie Spoilers: First Official Poster And Title Of Adam Samberg Film Unveiled [VIDEO]
The first official poster and title for The Lonely Island movie has finally been unveiled via the movie's social media platforms.
Andy Samberg also announced the poster of the film during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 1.
The movie has been titled Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping and the poster features Samberg dressed in all white against a backdrop of golden shimmer. The movie based on the parody band, made famous on Saturday Night Live, is being produced by Judd Apatow and has been written by Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. The movie is being directed by Schaffer and Taccone.
The plot of the movie involves a failed solo pop star, Connor (Samberg), who looks to reunite and revive his career with his old boy band, which we are guessing will feature Schaffer and Taccone.
The Lonely Island is known for it's various hilarious songs featuring frequent guest appearances by Justin Timberlake and also the likes of Rihanna and Akon. We are rooting for a cameo by the ever committed Timberlake, he is essentially an extension of The Lonely Island family.
The movie will open in theaters on June 3.
