Michelle Obama graces the cover of VOGUE magazine's upcoming April 2013 issue.

Obama, 49, showed off her toned arms in a Reed Krakoff dress, from her own closet, for the cover shot photographed by famed Annie Leibovitz.

Obama famously wore Krakoff to President Barack Obama's swear-in on Inauguration Day in January and when the first family posed for their latest official portrait.

President Barack Obama joined his wife Michelle Obama in VOGUE's cover story interview. The couple told jokes about many topics, including why they should get out more now that they have growing daughters and why the president compared the first lady to Beyonce.

The couple discussed how the presidency has had an effect on Barack's wardrobe. He admitted that he went from owning just two suits to now possessing dozens in his closet. Michelle admitted she is very thankful.

'"Thank god," Michelle told VOGUE. "Let me tell you: This is the man who still boasts about, 'This khaki pair of pants I've had since I was 20' and I'm like, 'You don't want to brag about that."'

The president laughed at her remark, according to the article, and replied: "Michelle's like Beyoncé in that song, "Let me upgrade ya!' She upgraded me."

The couple said that their daughters, Sasha, 11, and Malia, 14, have been spending less time with them so they are considering socializing more.

"The stresses and the pressures of this job are so real that when you get a minute," the First Lady said, "you want to give that extra energy to your fourteen- and eleven-year-old."

"Although," Barack chimed in, "as I joked at a press conference, now that they want less time with us, who knows? Maybe you'll see us out in the clubs."

"Saturday night!" the First Lady added to his comment. "The kids are out with their friends. Let's go party!"

"'The Obamas are out in the club again?' " the president joked.

Michelle first appeared on the cover of VOGUE for the March 2009 issue, right after Barack was inaugurated into his first term as the president.

VOGUE's April 2013 issue featuring Michelle Obama on the cover will arrive on newsstands on March 26.
