The Mob Wives episode in which late star Big Ang found out she had cancer aired Wednesday night on VH1.

It was the second to last episode before the series finale next week, which will be followed by a special tribute for Big Ang, who lost her battle with lung, throat and brain cancer on Feb. 18.
In the beginning of the episode Karen Gravano, Carla Facciolo and Renee Graziano were comforting Ang in hopes to keep her “spirits high.”

She revealed, “It was the scariest day of my life,” as she opened up about the surgery she had to get one of her lungs taken out. “It was a never ending battle.”
She then said she prayed she wouldn’t have to repeat the process.
“I hope they got all the cancer,” she said before going to her first appointment after the operation.
She received good news that day as her doctor said her lymph nodes were “not affected,” which also meant she wouldn’t have to suffer through chemotherapy.
The news caused Big Ang to have a new outlook on life.
“I’m over the cancer world…bye Felicia…I’m going to be very nice. I’m not going to take life for granted any more. I’m going to live life to the fullest. I’m not going to be mean, or nasty or yell at anyone. I’m going to be very nice. I’m going to celebrate.”
Facciolo was also excited about the news.
“Angela is a fighter…nothing will stop that woman.”
