According to a new report, the actor was looking "bloated and unsteady" during a recent appearance, leading experts to fear for his health.
"When I met people, they said, 'You do look like a hobo, but you smell really good,'" Depp said while making a "shabby spectacle" of himself at the 2016 Hollywood Beauty Awards last month.

"His lifestyle may have finally caught up with him," New York internist Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not worked wtih Depp, said.
In recent months, Depp has been showing up to events with his hair in shambles, and his teeth appear to be bizarrely stained, crooked and yellowing.
"This is not the look of a happy man," said psychotherapist Dr. Gilda Carle, who has also not treated Depp. "If he has had a lot of pain in his personal life and his professional life has also nose-dived, his appearance leaves a lot of reason for concern."
The outlet went on to recall a recent incident at the Hollywood Film Awards. After Depp delivered an incoherent speech to the audience, Depp's wife, Amber Heard, 29, and his former partner, Vanessa Paradis, reportedly got into an arguement over Depp's parenting abilities. Months later, a reportedly drunk Depp was kicked out of a Los Angeles bar.
