Fans in Staten Island have paid homage to late VH1 Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola.
Big Ang Wanted To Be A Better Person After First Cancer Scare
A huge mural of the reality star, who passed away after her battle with cancer, was drawn on a building in Staten Island. It features her face with the quote, “I’m not here for a long time, just for a good time.”
Artists Danielle Mastrion and Vincent Santorella contributed to the final piece that is featured near her sister, Janine Detore’s children’s boutique called The Country Mouse.
Drama Explodes Between ‘Mob Wives’ Stars On Twitter
Big Ang’s co-star and close friend Drita D’Avanzo posted photos of the mural after it was revealed on Sunday morning.
D’Avanzo kissed Big Ang in one photo and added the caption, “A kiss for a beautiful #Angel Love u my friend…xo”
She also shared a photo of her and Dom Detore by the photo before adding one that revealed the full mural.
She wrote the caption, “#RIPAng Today was beautiful… an amazing family!!!”
Dom also shared a video clip to show how many came out to support. He wrote, “Look how many people came to candle light vigil…”
Janine echoed similar sentiments when she got close to Big Ang on the mural as well.
“#mysister,” she wrote in the caption.
She also thanked D’Avanzo for her support.
Big Ang battled with cancer for quite some time. In a recent episode of the series, she was happy to finally beat the disease before finding out shortly after that it returned and was at a stage four level.
She passed away last month at 55-years-old.
