Miley Cyrus Heart Tattoo: Inks Da Vinci Anatomical Heart Amidst Breakup Rumors
Following rumors about a recent breakup with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, former Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is sporting a new tattoo.
Kat Von D inked the tattoo at High Voltage in Hollywood and tweeted her new piece of art on March 15, describing it as "a miniature rendition of a daVinci anatomical heart."
Hemsworth has been living in his native Australia but came to Manila, Philippines, on Friday for a promotional appearance, reported Yahoo. He had also canceled plans to attend a March 19 premiere of his film Empire State, according to the report.
Cyrus may have denied rumors about her romance with Hemsworth coming to an end when she re-tweeted on March 15 the following message: "Lies took over the world... Facts don't really hold value anymore!"
The actress has over a dozen tattoos, including an anchor on her wrist, a dreamcatcher across her ribs and a matching tattoo with Hemsworth she got last year of a 1910 Teddy Roosevelt speech. It reads, "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat."
Her latest tattoo was placed on her arm just under an existing tattoo of Roman Numerals. A photo collage Kat shared included Leonardo da Vinci's famed sketch of the human heart, which was the inspiration for Cyrus' new ink.
