After Ghalichi left the series following its third season, rumors swirled claiming she was fired, but in a new interview with Nik Richie, she insists that was not the case, revealing her lawyer emailed the network and offered them an exit statement to release on BravoTV.com. However, Ghalichi said Bravo waited to share her statement with fans.
“In the meantime, MJ and everyone else is going on TMZ and talking about how I got fired, so Bravo put out the statement that it was my choice to leave the show,” Ghalichi revealed to Richie, via a report by Reality Tea last week.

“I think the difference between them and me is that I have a real life outside the show and real responsibilities and businesses, versus they have the show," Ghalichi added of her co-stars. "So, they take the show so seriously and they’re willing to throw you under the bus, lie, kill do whatever they have to do for ratings and I wasn’t, so that’s the difference between us.”
As for the drama surrounding Mike Shouhed and his split from Jessica Parido, Ghalichi seemed to take Parido's side, revealing, “She became Jewish for him, she became Persian for him. She learned to cook for him, she was everything for him.”
Also during the interview, Ghalichi revealed the cast of the show makes between $20,000 and $25,000 per episode.
The fifth season of Shahs of Sunset premieres on April 10 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
