Beyonce 'Bow Down/I Been On' Lyrics & Listen to Audio [Photo]
Beyonce released the audio for her first single Bow Down/I Been On from her upcoming album on her Tumblr blog Sunday.
The song is presumed to be the first track from her upcoming, as-yet-named album expected to be released at the end of the year. The single was produced by Hit Boy, the man behind Jay-Z and Kanye West's popular dance track N**gas In Paris from their collaboration album Watch The Throne.
Beyonce posted an audio clip of the song to her blog without a statement. The recording was accompanied by an image of the Houston singer as a pre-teen wearing a pink princess-style dress with a crown on her head and surrounded by trophies and awards. Bow Down/I Been On, where Beyonce both sings and raps, has received mixed reviews.
"I took some time to live my life, but don't think I'm just his little wife," she sings. "Don't get it twisted, get it twisted, this my sh8t, bow down b---hes."
Beyonce shared the song less than two weeks after the track list for her album was reportedly leaked. Bow Down/I Been On was not featured on the alleged track list. The list revealed that a bevy of award-winning artists, including Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Ne-Yo, may appear on the album. However, the songs listed are not confirmed as her record label is waiting for approvals for music clearances.
