She has finally begun to realize that there is more to the story behind Liam's (Scott Clifton) sudden disappearance, and when Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) begins to investigate further, she will begin to wonder if a prolific ex from his past is involved in his being MIA on The Bold and the Beautiful.

When Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) finally returns to Los Angeles from her trip back to Australia, Steffy will first confront her about her possibly snatching Liam back for herself and keeping him in Australia. However, when Ivy tells her that Liam never came back after his initial flight there, Steffy will be forced to see if Liam's other significant ex-Hope (Kim Matula) is somehow involved.

Matula is scheduled to reprise her role on the March 16 episode only, meaning she will likely show up via video chat or through a phone conversation again, which makes sense after Steffy tells Thomas (Pierson Fode) about her ne theory concerning Liam's whereabouts. If he wasn't with Ivy, she will assume he has been with Hope in Italy, and she will get in touch with her to see what she knows about his disappearance-only to continue being empty-handed when it comes to the answers she needs, as Hope hasn't seen him either.

As she continues running out of options that make sense, Steffy may decide to look a little closer to home, unaware that she should have started her search there to begin with. No one except for Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Deacon (Sean Kanan) know the truth about what has happened to Liam-which is that he suffered double concussions and now has amnesia. Since being stricken, Quinn has been keeping him at her cabin in Topanga Canyon, and even convinced him they are a married couple named Adam and Eve. Since then, the two have also consummated their relationship, and Quinn is scrambling for what she will do if Liam either regains his memory-or someone happens to find him and realizes what she did.

As Steffy potentially gets closer to the truth though, Quinn could be pushed over the edge-and may decide to go through with her plan B to kill Liam.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
