'Deception' Season Finale Spoiler: Vivian Bowers Killer Revealed On NBC 10/9C (PREVIEW VIDEO)
NBC will air the finale of the first season of Deception on Monday.
During the episode titled I'll Star With The Hillbilly, fans will learn who killed Vivian Bowers, whose murder was shown in the first episode.
NBC's Monday night drama stars Meagan Good as Joanna Locastro, a detective who used her skills to infiltrate the wealthy Bower family, who makes their billions in the pharmaceuticals industry. As a child, Joanna befriended Vivian, the family matriarch's granddaughter who died from a drug overdose in the show's premiere episode. When Locastro attended Vivian's funeral, the Bower family automatically accepted her back into the family. Locastro used her access throughout the season to uncover clues about her childhood pal's mysterious death. Every week she learned more about the family's deepest and darkes secrets while reconnecting with an ex-boyfriend to help solve Vivian's murder.
Victor Garber (Alias) plays the family's matriarch, Robert Bowers. Tate Donovan (Damages) plays his son Edward, Katherine LaNasa (Alfie) plays Edward's wife Sofia and Ella Rae Peck (Gossip Girl) plays the Bowers' dead daughter Vivian.
Katherine LaNasa shared a few spoilers to expect in the final episode. When asked about their reaction when they learned who Vivian Bowers' killer is for the season finale, LaNasa revealed she had a different set of expectations.
"We found out when we read the last script, but it went through some changes; so even for us, it's a little open-ended as to how it went down," LaNasa told Hollywood Life. "We didn't know who it was going to be. I was hoping it'd be me. I was looking forward to making someone my bitch in prison. That would have been a really good story line."
LaNasa gave away two spoilers about the finale. She was wearing a tiny cast on her finger from her big fight scene and she hinted that it's a man!
"I don't know if you've seen this [gesturing to her finger], but it's from the last episode," LaNasa said referring to the fight scene. "My big fight scene that I have. In heels. ... You should see the other guy."
Deception series creator Liz Heldens was asked if Julian, Vivian's brother, was her murderer. An earlier episode revealed that the diamonds in his graduation ring matched the markings on his dead sister's body. According to her, it could be anyone.
"We tee up everybody as suspects, as we get into their backstories," Heldens told TV Line.
In tonight's episode, Vivian's murder case is reopened as new information comes out, and the identity of her murderer is revealed, according to TV Guide. Edward makes a tough decision regarding his wife's condition after she was shot in an elevator last week by a hit man hired by Haverstock. Haverstock sought revenge to Edward for attacking him over the false murder weapon.
The season finale of Deception airs Monday on NBC at 10/9C
