On Thursday, Los Angeles Daily News reported that Daniel Lara and Josh Holz, who invented the iconic catchphrase "Damn Daniel," met with patients at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital to interact with fans and talk about the importance of giving.
"We thought it was important to do some charity work and give back to the local community," Lara said. "We're enjoying it. We're enjoying being here. This is a great experience."

"This is our community and we want to help out in any way we can," Holz chimed in.
The teen stars signed autographs and took photos with patients.
A 13-year-old named Jonathan Robinson-Joye opened up on how exciting it was to meet the viral celebrities.
"I am so happy. This is the best day of my life," he said. "I can't wait to tell my family that I met Daniel, sucka."
'Damn Daniel' became an Internet sensation when Holz recorded Lara in different clips saying the phrase over and over again. At one point, he mentioned that Lara was "back at it with the white vans."
Vans actually participated in this charity by donating 100 pairs of shoes to the patients.
"It's amazing that kids ages 14 and 16 would think of the Children's Hospital and give back to the community at such a young age," executive director of LLUCH Sherry Nolfe said. "To have that instilled in them is amazing, and we are very grateful for their visit."
